There are so many people at the Temple, Gabriel.

[In the tone of YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW, as Castiel picks up the puppy without a second thought. He loves animals and hellhounds are no exception, though he seems to really notice the dog for the first time as he's holding at and gives Gabriel a look.]

When did you acquire a hellhound?

Are you shocked? [Scoff] Rei knows everyone. [Luckily, no one's gotten that curious about the theme park- it's creepy enough to keep people away from it and boring enough to not have much of an allure.]

Puppy mill. [He makes a "duh" face.] Where d'you think? Crowley gave him to me.

No, just dismayed.

[Castiel sets the dog back down as he starts wiggling around with no regard for whether it would fall on his face. He frowns a little at the answer.]

Why?

I don't even remember anymore. A jar of honey? Me not telling Sam and Dean... something or other. [He waves a hand dismissively.] He talks a lot.

He does talk a great deal.

[He'd been super annoying to work with for that reason. Though that reminds Castiel...]

I don't have a hellhound for you, but I do need some honey.

Uhhh... Why?

[It doesn't really matter, but if he has to be the town's honey dealer, he likes to know where it's going.]

Sam has been using it in his tea.

[And considering Gabriel's hackjob sigils on Sam's ribs, Castiel assumes the archangel can understand why Sam needs it.]

[Gabriel hums a little, pacing the length of the room, like hearing it's Sam who needs a favor- again- is music to his ears.] And how is our little walking trauma patient?

[Castiel rolls his eyes, stepping to sit up on the back of Gabriel's stone couch, letting Pedro slither up his sleeve when the snake wanders over. It's cold out, after all.]

Better, because of you, but he's still unwell.

You're welcome, by the way. [Hackjob sigils or not, he still did it. It's not like he owes the Winchesters anything.

He flops down on the nearest chair.] Problem with joining Team Humanity at the eleventh hour is people expect you to put your money where your mouth is when you live. Shocker.

I saw 'em. Great kid. Still a little green, but eh, he'll learn. [Gabriel shrugs. Baby angels- what can you do?]

He'll catch on quickly.

[Inias is a little naive, and more than a little too gentle to really be a soldier, but he's smart. Castiel is sure he'll be alright, especially with Castiel and Gabriel here; he likely won't stay past the week anyway.]

I believe he's afraid of you, however.

He'll get over that. Or he'll make me look better in front of everyone, which is a win-win situation for me.
