I like 'em both too, but the only way they're gonna get along is if Lucifer keeps his hands to himself and Rei keeps her sanctimonious BS to herself, and neither of 'em can do that. There's no mystical fix-all to awkward social situations, bro. Sometimes you just gotta deal.

[On one hand, that doesn't help. On the other at least it is Castiel failing; this is just that annoying of a situation.]

Rei is trying, but I've asked Lucifer many times not to force an in-person meeting between the two of them, and he refuses to abide by it. And it seems he truly attempted to start a fight with her a few weeks ago, before he spoke with the Animus.

I don't know how much sway she has over them. As I understand most of them are the same rank.

Ukitake seems the most levelheaded of them all other than Unohana, however.
