How do you know? How can you say that, when none of those gods actually exist, but just the very idea of them, the very idea they would take blood sacrifice and dedications to their absurd godhood is enough to twist religion, to twist morality, to create human beings who would do disgusting things in the name of something which isn't even real. You might say nobody does anything like that in your name, but but how do you know that, a hundred years down the line, someone won't pick that up and use it to manipulate people into murder?
