[Lip service? Not Gabriel's strong suit and he could probably make sex critiques sound like sweet nothings, but Jinx had that something extra- she wasn't a goddess and that in itself made every bit of gall and initiative and domineering action she took in bed fascinating and unbelievably hot. Women who knew he wasn't human tended to tread gently instead of pushing him to his limits, scared of incurring divine wrath. Jinx threw it out the window. There were some instances where Gabriel expected people to not try and top him- sex wasn't one of them. Sex wasn't fun if it wasn't surprising, challenging, and a little dangerous.]

I was getting to me. [He was practically preening.] Almost wish I had the videotape for that one. Should I put mirrors on the ceiling so you can watch next time? Bars on the headboard? The whole nine yards. Maybe we'll get a dungeon. I bet there's one we can rent out... Or steal from AGI.

[Jinx was fairly convinced she should have died over a decade ago, which meant that she lived like she was on borrowed time. Why waste it with silly things like self preservation and being afraid of things bigger than you? Okay, maybe not the smartest way to live, but it sure made her fun. In her mind, there was no reason not to throw Gabriel down and have her way with him. They were friends, he was her lover, hers, and she didn't view him as above her in any way. They were on the same raunchy, crazy, emotionally fucked, codependent, amazingly fun level. Snuggling with her own personal archangel, she purred in that half asleep sort of way.]

Let's make a sex tape. Multiple sex tapes. With all of that. Including the cliff. We'll get real kinky...make what I just did look vanilla. [She yawned loudly, then mumbled something about mustache rides.]

[Was she complaining about her Gabriel blanket? Nope. Jinx obviously was enjoying this pampering. Sometimes, it was hard having a boyfriend who didn't need to sleep. Other times, it was the best thing ever. He could pay attention to her like this all night, if he wanted.]
