[Yes, she's talking while the phone is ringing. And this phone call totally is coming at like five in the morning, but she knows your ass doesn't sleep.]

[A happy little orange tabby comes on screen takes off his hat before he speaks.]

Um, excuse me, Mr. Trickster. I saw in the paper you are opening a new club and are looking for performers. My name is Danny and I am a singer and dancer. I was wondering where you would be holding auditions. I would love to try and audition for one of the performer spots.

Hey, Gabriel. It's Anna. Um. I was talking to Jinx, and she said.. I should just call you about maybe getting a job in .. Purgatory? I mean, I've worked in restaraunts before, sleezy ones, clean ones-- I just.

I kind of need a job. I'll even just clean up after hours or- anything, really.

Anyway- Yeah. Um, I guess you know where to reach me, so; Thanks.

Well, Mr. Trickster. I was reading the news today and I noticed something of interest. School's out, it's some big Canadian holiday, and the fairgrounds are going to be packed with people in need of a little...just desserts? My fingertips are itching for a little fun with my personal pagan god.

How about I buy the tickets, you buy the snacks, I'll rig up a few dozen carnival games, then maybe the Ferris wheel could break down while we're at the top and... [A little purr.]

[Hey look it's Chuck and Anna, red faced and leaning all on each other in a drunk kitten kind of way. Anna's face is streaked with tears and Chuck looks marginally better- but they're both clearly trashed and leaning in cloooooooooooooooooooooooose to the screen to focus their wobbly heads on the NV.]

Gabriel. Hey- hey Gabriel.

[This call comes at about midnight. Before she speaks, there's a lot of fumbling. Her heels on the ground, liquid swishing around in a bottle, her hand brushing against the speaker. Her voice is a bit slurred.]

I--I don' know where I am. My bike is...it's somewhere. Prob'ly the same place with my jacket. It's dark. But there's a lot'a grass.

[Have a panicked drunk voice, Gabriel, with the distant sounds of puking.]

Gabriel. GABRIEL. Okay so uhm don't get mad okay? Don't eat me. Before you get pissed just know that I didn't know she was a lightweight and she hasn't had that much to drink so I don't know why she's throwing up this much and I thought I could take care of her but it's kind of, um, kind of really starting to scare me because she wasn't drunk enough to get sick. She really wasn't.

It's really weird, and- Jinx! JINX. Jinx, leave the ponytail in, okay? Your hair! -and it's freaking me out. I've seen drunk enough to puke, uh, I've seen it a lot. And this wasn't it.

[Sup. Looking and sounding a little uncertain, but-]

[After he gets Jinx calmed down, feed, dressed, and tucked into bed. Not that Magneto is calm. The static pops of leaking power crackling sounds in the background but otherwise his voice is entirely level, even, low, icy, with very careful annunciation making each word.]

This isn't going to be the 'What did you do to my daughter' call. It's a little late for that.
