[He's really tempted to just give up trying to make them. He has Gabriel, Rei, and Meg, and Alois and Rome as well, and everyone else can just get eaten by the Animus for all he cares at the moment.

[There is a long silence. Gabriel doesn't make friends. He has a collective of people he tolerates and then there's an even smaller group of people he trusts.]

Uh... There's you, but you're family. Crowley's a dick, but he's just enough of a dick to be worth liking. Rei, Unohana, Vriska... [He ticks off on his fingers and then finds himself drawing a blank.] Most of the people I liked just up and left.
