You enter a garden. What the garden looks like is shaped by the person walking through it, not the dreamer, himself. It could be your mother's rose garden, the vegetable garden of your grandparent's house, a botanical garden you visited on a field trip, a jungle... The important thing is its large and open and has lots of trees and plants. The details don't matter, but here you're completely at peace. Enjoy it. It doesn't last.

Exit the Garden and you find a wide street made of gold paving stones suspended by magic in the air and winding upwards. Every few steps is a dead angel dressed in white robes, black ash wings spread out along the stones. You can't step off the path, because on all sides is a white fog like clouds and if you step out into it, you'll drop out of the sky completely and wake up in the Garden again with the horrible sensation that you've just torn a portion of yourself asunder and lost it between there and here. Your only choice is to keep walking and keep stepping over the dead angels.

At the end of the path is a white marble crypt that's had its door smashed in. Long before you walk in, you have a feeling of horrible dread, but the path behind you is gone, covered up by the same white cloud-like mist you avoided before. You have to go in. Inside, however, the crypt isn't a crypt at all, but a throne room. The massive throne at the head is cracked down the middle. Four cushions are laid out in a line. The first one is worn and frayed and falling apart, the second one is faded, the third one is burnt and smells of sulfur, and the last one is set apart from the others and seems to have had most of its stuffing torn out and scattered. If you sit on the first three, nothing will happen, except your feelings about the throne in front of you will change. The first gives you a sense of respect and hope, the second a false sense of elation, the third, a sense of disgust. If you sit on the fourth, however, you will suddenly see the white throne room stained red and black with blood and ash and that horror will stick with you as you suddenly feel yourself falling down, down, down...

You wake in a forest. A large rock with rusted chains lays before you as well as the body of a strangled serpent. If you keep to the path (and you should keep to the path, because there are monsters in these woods and they're hungry), you will eventually find a large Nordic mead hall, gorgeous in its design. Step inside and you'll see a table laid out with a feast, but there are no guests. Pay close attention to the artwork- on one side of the room depicts the many tales of Loki, while the other bears murals of the tales of Gabriel.

You'll find Gabriel, himself, here, seated at the head of the table. Only half his wings casting shadows on the half of the room denoting the tales of when he was an angel. From outside, you hear a sound of rustling wings and the cries of those same monsters (except they're not monsters- they're gods) in the woods.

And you know suddenly, that they're descending, and that you have no choice but to fight.
