[Gabriel eyes the bag and then, despite the agonizing pain in his gut, picks it up and shoves one in his mouth. The face he makes is not the least bit displeased.]

[He's glad Gabriel seems to like them, because he knows how hard it is to adjust to being mortal, and he does feel sympathetic. That and he can't help but think this is all partially his fault.

He stares up at the ceiling a few moments, before venturing a question.]

Have you managed sleeping much at all?

[He barks a laugh.] If by sleeping, you mean "staying awake until I remember it's not optional like this and dropping like a rock?"

I tried that. Putting sugar in whiskey when you don't have a Trickster's metabolism anymore is really ill-advised.
